Henna strengthens the hair by impregnating itself into the
strand; almost becoming apart of it and making it stronger.
It also relaxes or loosens up very coily hair, making it more
manageable. It  has great conditioning benefits as well.
Henna is for those serious about having healthy
hair. When I was on a henna challenge, I used it
every 4-6 weeks for six months and my hair
became stronger, thicker, yet more manageable
because my coils were more relaxed.
My hair is very dark, so henna didn't do much for
the change in my hair color, except for minor
highlights that were detected in the light, but I
wasn't going for changing my hair color, I was going
for the strengthening and thickening benefits and
boy did I get them! I LOVE HENNA!

Henna can be used on both chemically treated hair
and natural hair. Henna is a natural conditioner that
can help heal the hair shaft by repairing and sealing
the cuticle, protecting hair against breakage and
loss of shine.

Henna can be used on commercially dyed hair, but
It's safest to wait at least 2-3 months before using
henna.

There are SO many ways to mix henna, but I will
give you my personal recipe and you feel free to
tweak it or change it completely.

HOW TO USE HENNA:
Pour the henna into a bowl and slowly pour your acid based liquid in it. I use apple cider vinegar, but lemon juice and orange juice works as well. I
put mines in a tablespoon at a time, and after each table spoon, stir it up some. I keep doing this until it becomes a little clumpy (DO NOT
SATURATE THE HENNA WITH THE LIQUID). I then pour water into the mixture. I also do this a little at a time...Sitir, then add more until the mixture
is now a very thick custard consistency. Then I cover my mixture and let it sit overnight. At the very least 8 hours. I try to sit it next to the heater or
on my stove top if I am cooking in the oven; I usually sit it on top of my refrigerator since heat rises.
The next day I put my mixture of honey, aloe vera juice and 6 oils into the mixture. I stir it up and then apply. (Check out the youtube video for
