| Henna strengthens the hair by impregnating itself into the strand; almost becoming apart of it and making it stronger. It also relaxes or loosens up very coily hair, making it more manageable. It has great conditioning benefits as well. |
| Henna is for those serious about having healthy hair. When I was on a henna challenge, I used it every 4-6 weeks for six months and my hair became stronger, thicker, yet more manageable because my coils were more relaxed. My hair is very dark, so henna didn't do much for the change in my hair color, except for minor highlights that were detected in the light, but I wasn't going for changing my hair color, I was going for the strengthening and thickening benefits and boy did I get them! I LOVE HENNA! CLICK HERE TO SEE MY HAIR WHILE ON THE CHALLENGE Henna can be used on both chemically treated hair and natural hair. Henna is a natural conditioner that can help heal the hair shaft by repairing and sealing the cuticle, protecting hair against breakage and loss of shine. Henna can be used on commercially dyed hair, but It's safest to wait at least 2-3 months before using henna. There are SO many ways to mix henna, but I will give you my personal recipe and you feel free to tweak it or change it completely. |
