What is Cheating???
May 4th, 2008
Can a person really “cheat on another”? I had this conversation w/a friend…
We are all our own people…we don’t belong to anyone and we can do whatever we want to…as long as we are willing to accept the consequences…Right…WHATEVER!!!
Does cheating HAVE to be sexual…
Are you already cheating by contemplating…
Have you cheated by carrying on a conversation w/someone you know is interested in you or that you are interested in…
If someone does “cheat” on you…Does that mean that didn’t want to be with you anyways and you should just let it go
After a person finds out you are cheating and they decide to stay are you still “cheating” on them.
What do you think?

No cheating does not have to be sexual. Yes some people cheat alone with their thoughts not matter how impure. It is CHEATING. Something in the relationship is going wrong it could be unfulfullment or just plain old lust. If someone cheats on you NO it does not mean they never wanted you. They just lost themselves for a moment. Now it is truely up to the individuals involved to determine if the relationship is worth saving. I often tell people this and it comes from an old relationship. A man once told me I drove him to cheating. I said look no one can take you away from me nor can a person take me away from you we don’t own each other. His remark was what? Then I further explain if you leave me or vice-versa then in my eyesight we just got tired of one another, ourgrew the other, or just never was completely compatiable. And if a person stays after this indiscretion then it is purely their choice.
I believe a relationship can survive a indiscretion, but it takes work on both parties involved. But the key is trust. Personally I will not be able to deal with a cheater because once a cheater always I know I have been there. And it can make you compare yourself to that person.
